What they needed: A first order of 150 custom member polos — men's and women's fits, multiple sizes, an embroidered society crest on the left chest, in two society colours.
What worried them: Members varied widely in age and build, so sizing was the main worry. They also wanted precise embroidery and asked whether new members could reorder later.
How we ran it: We supplied size charts and try-on samples, then confirmed quantities once sizes were collected. We made an embroidery sample first and kept the approved fit, fabric and technique on record, with reorder terms explained upfront.
What we advised: Confirm men's and women's try-on results and the embroidery sample first, then collect member sizes. That reduces sizing errors and makes later reorders easy to place against the approved spec.

A 300-piece staff uniform project for a German industrial firm

Context: An industrial equipment company in Germany equipping its sales, trade-show and customer-service teams for daily reception and industry exhibitions.
What they needed: A total of 300 garments in the company's standard colour, with a custom logo on the chest, packed and labelled by department and size.
What worried them: They worried about shrinkage, distortion and fading after frequent washing, about slight differences between production batches, and about the order arriving before a key trade show.
How we ran it: We recommended fabric based on how often each team wears and washes the garments, with test data showing under 1.5% shrinkage and UPF 50+ ratings. Colour, size tolerances and the packing list were confirmed, and production and shipping were planned backwards from the show date.
What we advised: Confirm how staff will wear and wash the garments before choosing fabric. List logo, packing and freight costs clearly in the quote, and agree key sign-off dates and an expected delivery window.

A new golf apparel brand in the US

Context: A US brand selling through its own online store and social media, preparing to launch its first own-label polo range.
What they needed: A first order of 240 pieces — two styles, two colours each, with custom neck labels, care labels and packaging, focused on an athletic fit and clear brand identity.
What worried them: They worried that 60 pieces per colour might not reach the minimum order quantity, that samples and bulk might not match, and that best-sellers could not be restocked quickly after launch.
How we ran it: We confirmed the minimum order conditions per style and colour — 60 pieces per colour clears our 50 pcs-per-colour MOQ — and prioritised in-stock fabric. Fit, brand trim and pre-production samples locked the spec, with reorder quantities and fabric limits explained in advance.
What we advised: For a first range, check first whether in-stock fabric matches the design and quantities. Confirm fit, labels and packaging before locking the bulk spec, which helps keep the first order investment under control.

A corporate golf charity event in Canada

Context: An event agency in Canada running a corporate charity golf tournament, buying apparel for guest players and event staff.
What they needed: Around 200 pieces, split into guest and staff versions, each carrying the event and sponsor logos and packed by group.
What worried them: The event date was fixed, so late delivery would make the garments useless. Multiple logos risked placement, colour or size errors, and last-minute size changes could slow the schedule.
How we ran it: We prioritised in-stock fabric and proven techniques, produced a logo placement proof and a physical sample, and set a latest sign-off date for the size list and sponsor artwork, with a transport buffer built in.
What we advised: Give us the event date and the must-receive date first, and we will check a feasible schedule and list the latest dates for logo and size confirmation, making it easier to coordinate sponsors and players.

A corporate gift distributor in the Netherlands

Context: A distributor in the Netherlands supplying corporate gifts and bulk apparel to local businesses, looking for a long-term golf polo partner.
What they needed: A first project of 500 pieces with custom end-client logos and individual packaging, with more repeat orders for different companies expected later.
What worried them: Incomplete quotes could hurt resale margin, inconsistent bulk quality could trigger end-client complaints, and a supplier might display client designs or use client data without permission.
How we ran it: We provided tiered pricing and a full cost breakdown, and agreed inspection and problem-handling steps. Client data, design files and the permitted scope of case display were confirmed in writing, and every new project is re-specified.
